00) Brand(브랜드 소개)

Brand name : ETERNAL EDITION(이터널 에디션)

"Eternity is always now"

지금 이 순간이 오래도록 지속되기를...

'영원'이라는 주제로 시작한 ETERNAL EDITION은 대중의 개성을 존중하며,

그들의 무드에 녹아들 수 있는 가방을 선보이고자 시작한 Bag collection brand입니다.

빠르게 변화하는 트렌드 속에서 어떠한 한계 없이 오랜 시간 함께할 디자인을 지향합니다.

- less is more : 더하지 않고 덜어낸 디자인

- comfortable : 실용적이고 편안한 디자인으로 자꾸 손이 가는 디자인

- new classic : 현대의 감각에 고전이 갖는 매력을 더한 디자인

The ETERNAL EDITION, which began with the theme of “eternity,” is a bag collection brand created to respect individual expression and to offer bags that naturally blend into each person’s mood. Amid rapidly changing trends, the brand pursues designs that transcend limitations and can be cherished and worn for a long time.

01) Concept(시즌 컨셉)

'cold frame;a new beginning'

씨앗을 발아시키거나 추위로부터 작은 식물을 보호하기 위한

작은 온상 같은 틀을 의미하는 'cold frame'에서 영감을 받아 이터널 에디션의 첫 에디션을 시작합니다.

각 잡힌 디자인과 가방 덮개의 스티치 라인은 콜드 프레임의 라인을 떠올리게 하며

장식을 최소화하여 가죽 본연에 집중할 수 있도록 디자인하였습니다.

단단한 틀 속에서 고된 날씨를 견뎌낸 식물들이 따뜻한 봄날을 맞이하듯이

오늘날의 모든 청춘에게 봄날 같은 출발을 기대해 봅니다.

The design was inspired by the "cold frame, " a small structure used to germinate seeds or protect young plants from the cold. The precise design and the stitch lines on the bag’s cover evoke the lines of the cold frame, minimizing decoration to allow the leather to take center stage. Just as plants that have withstood harsh weather inside the sturdy frame welcome the warmth of spring, we hope for a spring-like beginning for today’s youth.

02) Work Process(bag making process, project plan : 작업 과정)

1. 컨셉 기획 : 시즌 컨셉을 정하고 제품 디자인 전 컨셉을 기획하는 과정으로 inspiration 이미지 수집, 첫 시즌 제품으로 브랜드 로고 디자인도 함께 기획

- Concept Planning : Defining the seasonal concept and planning the overall direction prior to product design. This includes collecting inspiration images and developing the brand logo alongside the first season’s products.

2. 시장 조사 : 온라인 시장 조사를 포함하여 오프라인 매장에 나와있는 가방 트렌드 조사, 천연 가죽과 합피, 원단 등 현재 유행하는 재질이나 선호도, 가방 사이즈나 쉐입 등 다양한 측면으로 바라보는 게 중요.

- Market Research : Conducting online market research as well as researching bag trends in offline retail stores. It is important to examine various aspects such as current trends and preferences in materials (genuine leather, synthetic leather, fabrics), as well as bag sizes and shapes.

3. 소재 및 부속품 서치 : 현재 시장에 어떤 가죽&원단들이 나와있는지, 가방 장식을 포함한 부속품 리서치 및 단가 체크, 주로 신설동 가죽 시장에서 서치

- Material & Hardware Sourcing : Researching the types of leathers and fabrics currently available in the market, along with bag hardware and accessories, including price checks. Sourcing is mainly carried out at the Sinseol-dong leather market.

4. 로고 디자인 : 제품에 각인해야 하는 점 고려하여 로고 & 심볼 디자인, 너무 얇지도 두껍지도 않아야 레이저&불박 각인 때 활용할 수 있다.

- Logo Design : Designing the logo and symbol with consideration for product engraving. The logo should not be too thin or too thick so that it can be used effectively for laser engraving and hot-stamping.

5. 디자인(총 제품 3개) : 소재 스와치와 부속품 자료 참고하여 디자인 진행 후 작업지시서 작성, 총 3 제품, 2~3가지 색상으로 구성을 짰고 숄더백, 토트백처럼도 활용할 수 있는 크로스백, 숄더백과 결합이 되는 지갑 으로 구성된 이번 시즌 제품

- Design (3 Products Total) : Developing designs based on material swatches and hardware references, followed by creating technical specification sheets. The collection consists of three products in 2–3 colorways: a shoulder bag, a crossbody bag that can also be used like a tote, and a wallet that can be combined with the shoulder bag, forming this season’s lineup.

6. 샘플 제작 공장 미팅 : 샘플 제작 공장에 작업지시서로 제작 의뢰 후 수량 확정(마이크로 미니 수량으로 제작을 해야 해서 샘플 제작하는 공장에서 본 제품까지 생산), 샘플 제작용 가죽&부속품 발주 후 샘플 제작, 가방 잠금장치에 레이저 각인+불박 각인 위해 금형 제작(레이저 각인에 소요되는 시간 때문에 샘플에는 각인 없이 진행)

- Sample Factory Meeting : Submitting technical specification sheets to the sample factory and confirming quantities. Due to the need for micro-minimum production quantities, the same factory handles both sampling and full production. After ordering leather and hardware for samples, samples are produced. Molds are created for laser engraving and hot-stamping on the bag closures; however, samples are produced without engraving due to the time required for laser engraving.

7. 샘플 확인 & 검수 : 샘플 제작까지 2주 정도 소요(샘플 제작비용 문제로 우선 1 color만 생산), 사이즈 수정해야 하는 부분 체크하고 제품에 이상 없는지 체크

- Sample Review & Inspection : Sample production takes approximately two weeks. Due to sample cost constraints, only one color is produced initially. Areas requiring size adjustments are identified, and the overall product condition is inspected.

8. 본 제품 생산 : 본 제품 생산에 맞춰서 가죽&부속품 발주(수량 맞춰서 가죽&부속품 발주(겉감에는 천연 가죽 사용했고 겉감 가죽에 맞춰서 내피에 들어갈 가죽은 염색하여 발주, 원단도 3가지 제품 컬러에 모두 어울릴 수 있게 포괄할 수 있는 컬러와 소재로 발주)

- Mass Production : Ordering leather and hardware according to final production quantities. Genuine leather is used for the exterior, and the lining leather is dyed and ordered to match the exterior leather. Fabrics are ordered in colors and materials that can work cohesively across all three product colorways.

9. 제품 촬영 : 룩북 촬영 레퍼런스 서치, 모델 에이전시 통해서 모델 섭외, 포토그래퍼&촬영 스튜디오 섭외 후 착장 짜서 촬영

- Product Photography : Researching lookbook references, casting models through a model agency, booking a photographer and studio, styling the looks, and conducting the shoot.

10. 아웃 : 룩북 보정 및 제작, 패키지 개발 및 제작, 상세페이지에 들어갈 제품컷은 직접 촬영 및 보정 후 페이지 제작 후 판매 시작

- Launch : Retouching and producing the lookbook, developing and producing packaging, directly shooting and editing product images for the detail pages, creating the pages, and launching sales.

Production Period : 3 months (From concept to sales)

Flap Shoulder Bag -

브라운, 블루, 블랙 3가지 컬러, 가죽과 패브릭으로 제작되었습니다.

사이즈는 가로 280mm 세로 260mm 폭 70mm 사이즈의 아이패드까지 넣을 수 있는 넉넉한 숄더백으로,

각 잡힌 가방 프레임, coldframe의 덮개를 연상케 하는 가방 덮개와 포켓, 장식적인 효과의 스티치 라인,

안정감 있게 착용 가능한 가방 스트랩 길이, 한쪽에는 탈부착 가능한 거울 백참,

내부에도 작은 포켓, 로고는 음각으로 삽입하였습니다.

Available in three colors—brown, blue, and black—crafted from leather and fabric.

This spacious shoulder bag measures 280 mm (W) × 260 mm (H) × 70 mm (D) and comfortably fits an iPad.

A structured bag frame, a bag flap and pocket inspired by the cover of a cold frame, decorative stitch lines,

a strap length designed for stable and comfortable wear,

A detachable mirror bag charm on one side, a small interior pocket, and the logo expressed in debossed embossing.

Cross Bag -

그레이, 블루, 블랙 3가지 컬러, 가죽과 패브릭으로 제작되었습니다.

사이즈는 가로 250mm 세로 170mm 폭 60mm 사이즈의 안정감 있는 쉐입의 토트백으로,

심플하고 미니멀한 디자인, 부드럽고 매끈한 소가죽 텍스쳐,

토트백과 크로스백 2 way로 활용 가능한 끈 길이 조절 기능, 장식적인 효과의 스티치 라인,

넉넉한 폭으로 많은 소지품 수납 가능, 잠금장식에 레이저 각인으로 심볼 로고를 추가하였습니다.

Available in three colors—gray, blue, and black—crafted from leather and fabric.

This tote bag features a stable, well-structured shape and measures 280 mm (W) × 260 mm (H) × 70 mm (D).

A simple and minimal design, smooth and supple cowhide leather texture,

an adjustable strap length that allows the bag to be worn as both a tote and a crossbody (2-way),

decorative stitch lines, and a generous width that offers ample storage for multiple belongings.

A symbol logo is added to the closure with laser engraving.

Flap Wallet -

브라운, 블루, 블랙 3가지 컬러, 가죽과 메탈체인 고리로 제작되었습니다.

사이즈는 가로 1700mm 세로 105mm 으로 플랫 하게 디자인된 크고 널찍한 지갑으로

Flap Shoulder Bag 덮개 부분을 형상화한 지갑 형태, 가방과 연결할 수 있도록 제작한 긴 체인 손목 끈,

체인 팔찌처럼 보일 수 있도록 둔탁하지 않고 가볍고 디테일이 있는 체인 디자인,

외부와 내부 각각 카드&현금 보관 용이한 수납공간이 있습니다.

Available in three colors—brown, blue, and black—crafted from leather with a metal chain loop.

Measuring 170 mm (W) × 105 mm (H), this large, wide wallet features a flat silhouette.

The wallet shape is inspired by the flap of the Flap Shoulder Bag and comes with a long chain wrist strap designed to connect to the bag.

The chain is lightweight, refined, and detailed to avoid a bulky look, allowing it to be worn like a chain bracelet.

Both the exterior and interior include compartments that make storing cards and cash easy and convenient.
